Mickronwood is made of a composition of wood and man made materials as is Woodwinds, an alloy with a similar composition. Woodmates have been around the longest and are amongst the most durable of these type of blinds, they are made from expanded foam and have a very good capacity to resist fading and can withstand very high temperatures.

Visionwood is the latest one to come to promence it is made from polysterne and is very affordable.

Most of these blinds come in a standerd 50 mm slat but visionwood is also available in a wide 63mm slat. All blinds are finished with a decorative pelmet and all fittings are colour coordinated.

Lookalikes are great for bathrooms toilets and all other wet areas, but the trend has been to outfit them throughout the home. They are particulary popular in painted finishes and can be a cheaper alternative to a painted cedar blinds.
